Village Friend 2019: The Spirit of Collaboration
When it comes to the craft beer industry, one of the most admirable things that every brewery shares is the spirit of collaboration. The camaraderie shared between brewers and friends is something everyone in this industry takes pride in. Whether it's the sharing of recipes or brewhouse techniques, it's all done out of a passion to fulfill one main purpose. To make better beer.
When we created the Village Friend four years ago, it was this spirit of collaboration that drove the initiative home. It's seen us team up with some of the newest breweries in the province to share ideas, craft some of the boldest beers and to educate each other along the way. This year is no different and we are so happy to have teamed up with our friends at Siding 14 Brewing Company out of Ponoka, Alberta, to make our first-ever Kettle Sour Ale.
Hear from brewers Mark Shields and Pat Henry on what the spirit of collaboration means to them and how through collaborations like these we can continue to push the quality of Alberta beer forward. #bettertogether #ittakesavillage #villagefriend2019
