we have a very special announcement to make today! on may 22nd, in collaboration with chefs lindsay porter (@londonlocalyeg) , shane chartrand (@shanemchartrand), and sugared & spiced bakery (@sugaredandspiced), we are participating in a once in a lifetime dinner for the homeless at the mustard seed (@themustardseedyeg). the three chefs will spend the afternoon training 30 homeless how to prepare one of their signature dishes, and then we will all share in the spectacular meal together. we are making 10 seats available to the public, and would like to invite citizens who are passionate about their community and sincere about helping those suffering from severe poverty and homelessness. this is an opportunity for those much less fortunate to experience the best dishes from three of the most decorated chefs in the city and also learn the techniques for how to prepare them. it is our hope that this becomes a monthly event, with different chefs and restaurants from around the city participating each month. we will also be first in line to hire members from the mustard seed when they are ready to rejoin the workforce. if you are interested in one of the 10 public seats, please DM us, or email Savanna@merchanthospitality.com
